|
|
I am having a perplexing problem with the latest release of Jamstix. I am running Jamstix 3.5 x64 in Sonar X2 x64 on Win 7 sp1 x64 and for some reason I cannot seem to stop Jamstix from sending clicks into the audio stream when I navigate the GUI. Whenever I click on a dropdown menu the clicks return. However, if I just leave it alone it sound smooth. I am on a very recent machine, core i7 3 ghz whit a ton of Ram. All the latest drivers etc.
Please advise.
Thanks, Adam |

I have noticed the same thing. I've finally finished moving everything over to my brand new system and have settled down to using things again and have noticed the same problem. Whenever I futz with the interface while running I'm getting clicks and noises. Leave it be and it disappears. In agreement with the original poster my system is new with following specs:
3rd gen i7-3770 3.40 GHz
16 gb RAM
Kontrol Audio 6 audio interface ASIO drivers
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit |

dcdandrea: please set process buffer to 256 samples and see if that fixes it. We are working on improving GUI speed in future updates. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| How do I get Jamstix to load into the sonar x1 timeline. I've tried ctrl dragging the entire song into the time line and freezing but parts are missing and the length of the track is always expanded. Not sure what's happening. |

| can not get Jamstix to work with Sonar. Either I can't get the song to load in the timeline properly or I get error message and it will not even load up. Uninstalling and will check back when the problems get fixed. |

I am trying the free version of Jamstix 4 in Cakewalk by Bandlab and working my way through the QuickStart Guide.
It creates a song and plays back fine in CbB. Tried different drummers and styles all OK.
As soon as I try to edit the structure of the song by clicking on it I get an "Access Violation at address xxxxxxxxx in module SHELL32.DLL"
I was able to prevent this happening by running CbB as administrator.
Should this be necessary or is it only a problem with the free version?
I’m running the latest version of CbB on 64 bit Win 10 (1803).
Thanks. |

Sounds like a file access issue. Please use 'Email Tech Support' in the manager tool to send me the logs and I'll get this sorted. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

That's weird. I have set Cakewalk back to load without admin rights so that I can generate an error log for you and now Jamstix works fine
So I will plough on with the demo for now. If I get the same issue shall I just
email the logs to support?
Loving the software so far by the way. Certainly a quick way to generate a realistic drum track and I haven't even touched the surface yet. |
