Just to cover the basics: load a quickstart song and then press PLAY in the host. You should see hits being generated in the bar editor. If they are crossed-out, hover the mouse over one of them and tell me the reason shown in the status line. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I am running 64-bit Studio One with the latest update (2.5). I just updated Jamstix to 3.5 64-bit. I was excited to finally be able to use Jamstix again after moving to 64-bit DAW several months ago.
Jamstix will not show up in Studio One for me!
The VST path is set correctly as I have other plugins (Superior Drummer, for example) working properly from the same directory.
It shows up fine in Reaper, so it is not a problem with the plugin itself.
Any suggestions?

The program I believe does not support 2/2 timing. If it does JS cannot follow timing even though it was performed with a metronome set at 4/4.. I am now trying to program drums - something that I am not at all comfortable with. Sorry I took up your time.
I am not at all proper with knowing time sig etc. I just perform and am musically iliterate. I do all playing by ear and just get the job done.
No one really needed to know. I just play and sing by ear!

rstpierre: are you sure Jamstix is in the Studio 1 search path?
kjstap: Jamstix can only do x/4 and x/8 rhythms. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

rstpierre: please run Studio One via right-click->Run As Admin and see if it can load Jamstix then. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I have Studio One 2.5 Pro and jamstix 3.5 loads just fine here.
Instead I have GUI-problems. Menus appeard far from where I click.
I replied in an another thread about the GUI-problem (glitches - reaper). It's the same problem as in the animation there. |
