There are possible sound glitches when certain things like bassdrum and low toms come together. Seems like an internal overload.

If you have 'Downmix' checked in the JS3 mixer, uncheck it and make sure all audio outputs of JS are routed in the host. If the glitches disappear then it was just dB overload on the single output due to downmixing.

The glitches don't dissapear, kick and toms are on indepented channels, if you mute one channel the sound is normal, if the two channels are together the buzzing is there. Internal summing?

edit: Also when you mute all channels (no downmix, all outputs only indepented channels in host) except the buzzing one, its there, too.
Seems not a db overload more like a sampling error...

please try out the file above.

Strange, but I also noticed something like white noise on some snares after I updated to 3.5. I thought it was something I had changed, but perhaps it was just this downmixing thing.

zeph: your link wants me to download some software. Any chance you can send the file to me as an MP3 via email?

Is this a 'Save Song' file? Doesn't load for me.

This is a load bar file.
Use it with bigkit XL for example, its only the bar that causes this buzzing sound.

Cool fill Smile
I can't duplicate the noise issue. Please do this: re-create the problem, then use 'Save Song' in the song menu and send me that file. You can just email it to me as it should be fairly small.

Strange Smile
I've also found out that when I delete one snare hit ( the buzzing sound is always on the 4th) and place a snare hit again on exact the same place it's gone...I try to figure it out.

Thanks for the MP3, that is definitely some kind of artifacting. Please send me rzdlog.txt from Documents\jamstix3.

Also, the jsbuzz.j2d file in your ZIP is still just a single bar. What I need is the file you get when you do "Save Song" in the JS song menu. That will have all data of your arrangement and setup.

Damn, now i can't replicate the issue Shocked
I updated the sound card driver yesterday and it seems they fixed a problem with latency, i can only guess why it affects high sample load in jamstix... strange!
The important thing is it's ok now, so forget about that Smile
Thank you for your support!
