|
|
Four new MiniPaks are now available:
[FLAMENCO]
Long overdue but worth the wait. A wide range of flamenco dancer sounds (sordas and altas claps, stomps, castagnettes and click-clack effect) and detailed Jamcussion (and Jamstix) styles. The best part is that we made 'Stomp & Clap' kits that you can use as drumsets in non-Flamenco productions (i.e. hip-hop).

[EUCLID]
Uses the Euclidean algorithm to generate Jamstix and Jamcussion rhythms. Can also create some wild polyrhythms.

[UDU UTAR]
Highly detailed Udu Utar samples for use in Jamcussion. It also comes with Udu Utar 'drumsets' that you can throw at any Jamstix style for some very cool performances.

[SOPHISTICA]
A set of styles that creates subtly complex grooves (hihat flavors as well as focus on whole kit use). Also comes with a new drummer "Marcher", which overlays complex marching snares on any style.

Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Flamenco?
Yummystix and stomp thing, so... so... exciting!
Sorry, had to chime in again and port those famous Queen-lyrics to my feelings about the new styles. Okay, nuff said, back to Flamenco-Pak.... |

| Euclid is by far the most useful expansion for jamming and honing rhythmic skills. just set the total number of hits to something odd, and watch everything turn to prog-rock Porcupine Tree-esque bonanza. I wish Euclid hihats were more flexible (fast single-handed hits with the same velocity sound awfully mechanic, so i always end up using regular hats instead), but other than that, this is nuts! |

Glad you like it!
Can you send me a JS song file with the mechanic sounding hats so I can see what we can do? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Probably worth noting that the sounds aren't from Jamstix but from BFD3. I'll get the song file when i get home. |
