Is there a printed description of all the various named patterns/fills? I can't seem to get the feel for what they are just from the two to three words used to describe them in the arranger window ...
Eventually I will probably figure it out by auditioning the various titles but for now I'd like to be able to focus on specific beats and I'm really not sure which is which ...

It's really hard to categorize fills because we don't want to stereotype too much. Some fills can be used across genres easily and change character dramatically when the drum sounds are changed (i.e brushed vs. stick). For now we don't have a good system and you just have to audit them and use them as you see fit. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
