I'm trying to setup a custom kit that uses MIDI Only to play a 16-pad Maschine kit using JS3. I start with an empty kit and right-click to add each piece. I have the Kick working on C1, but for some reason, I can't map the Snare. It defaults to D1 and won't let me change it. The MIDI key field is empty and it doesn't do anything if I click in it. How do I setup a custom MIDI mapping?
BTW, Maschine doesn't support MIDI routing within its own plug-in when used in stand-alone mode which means I can never upgrade to the latest JS3 build because I need sub-hosting support. In this case, I'm using Ableton Live as my host with Maschine and JS3 as plug-ins loaded into tracks and routed accordingly.
Peace \/

Snare (and some other sounds) have multiple articulations (bounce, rimshot etc.) with their own MIDI keys so you need to select the desired articulation in the kit editor and then you can edit the key. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
