This is driving me nuts. I must be doing something wrong. I just can not getting it right.

When changing players on a song I have arranged is confusing. I can not use the wizard, as that will re-arrange my whole song.

Changing it in the songsheet menu does not work the way I expect. I can select a part and select a drummer from the menu, but then ALL the parts are changed. I just want to change some parts, not all. I tried the shift click thing, but it does not seem to have any effect.

Help would be appreciated. I keep on trying to compose parts, then simply loose hours of work because the menus does not work the way my small brain expect.

Please click on style and/or drummer name shown in the brain panel to change them for just one part.

I know to change a single part, but how do I change a whole block of parts? It seems like it is either one or all. Nothing inbetween?

Several ways:

A) Let's say you want to change style/drummer for all 'Verses'. Do it on one verse and make adjustments as needed. When done, use part menu->Copy/Paste Style & Drummer To All Similar Parts and all parts that start with 'Verse' will be updated.

B) Change the style and/or drummer and adjust as needed on one part. Now click part menu ->Copy->Copy Style/Drummer. Highlight the target parts by holding SHIFT while clicking them. All selected parts will have an asterisk in front of their name. Right-click for part menu on any of them and click Paste->Paste Style/Drummer.

Ah! Thank you.

I see what I did wrong. I was trying to use the Song builder menu instead of the right-click menus.

Thanks it is working the way you describe.
