Hi, I didn't get a chance to beta test much or test tV3.5 but just installed it and did a gig with it. JS 32 bit in Live 32bit.

1. One major bug seems to be when you use the wizard to open an existing song by double clicking it was opening the wrong songs!
The songs I am double clicking on are in a folder below the songs folder but still show up in the wizard browser. When I double clicked them it looked like the song wizard would generate a song instead.

I ended up having to use the Load Song dialog to load them, which worked ok.
From a live performance workflow it's much better to just open the wizard and double click.

2. There also seems to be an intermittent GUI bug with the wizard. Sometimes when I opened a song with it the hand cursor would stay and not revert back to arrow and then I could not select anything in the host (Live). I had to click on another application then go back to live to get the host control back.

3. The other change is the max response rate seems to have a little latency in responding as well as I think the max rate should be instant to 0.
The context is I will be playing along and do a stop (damp guitar so no input) but even on max response rate it still plays a couple of notes, so the stops don't work. I'm sure previous version was more responsive on this?

Interface tweaks look nice!

edit:
#4 Loop song checked in options seems to disrupt live mode looping by adding an extra bar of silence when it comes round to repeat. Turning it off Live Mode looping works ok, but had me confused for a while.

Another UI "bug" or maybe a Feature Request.

Use case:
Playing live it's great to be able to watch the horizontal graphical parts on the bottom right below the parts list. It's especially helpful to see the last bar colored differently as it helps doing manual timing changes when hitting part change triggers from my launchpad. Sometimes it's good to switch mid part ( using options/liveloop Bar Jumps) but most times I switch on the end bar.

However, in some cases the end bar is not colored darker, and I'm not sure why. I see it happen when I have both drums and percussion, but I'm not sure if this is always the case.

Even better would be to have the large display of bar numbers have a visual representation of just this parts bars and which one is last in a different color with current position highlighted. It helps to see in advance in order to anticipate and plan upcoming part switches when jamming.

I just had Jamstix crash Live on me...instant exit to desktop!

I was trying to to load a song.
If I recall I think I opened the wizard then realised it doesn't open songs properly so I opened the song menu, hit Load Song and bang - exit to desktop. Win 7 X64 with Live 32bit and Jamstix 32 bit.

Try running Live as admin. Also, if this happens again, please send me rzdlog.txt right after.

I was running as an admin. Unfortunately this was a live gig so my priority was to get Live back up and running, did not have time to check the Jamstix log. Maybe you could add a setting to keep the last x number of logs instead of overwriting the same one?

Jamstix crashed Live again while doing a gig. Same scenario. Had been playing a while. Unfortunately same situation as before means I had to restart straight away and no time to grab the log file.

I'm sorry for the crash! Anything you can tell us that might help the bug hunt?

I'll try and recreate it by playing some time in Live this week.
Where's the log file kept now anyway? I don't see it in the install folder where it used to be?
