Hi Ralph,

Just got the latest 3.5 32 bit update installed on my xp machine and have been playing around with it using the midi import feature. Here's a couple of observations. I use the latest version Reaper 4.30. After I have created a song from the wizard I go back to each part (verse, chorus, bridge, etc.) and from here I go to the brain and call up my midi files for superior drums 2.0.

First observation is I can't see all of the midi files due to the small window and multiple folders they are in. A windows explorer slider feature would be a great help! My work around is I copied the entire midi folder and placed it into a separate drive eliminating 3 or 4 folders. But now I have a duplicate midi file location, not the cleanest of solutions.

Second observation concerns non function of the midi import. Since sub hosting is gone I use midi out only to trigger my second track with SD 2.0. From here I preview and pick my midi files for each part, these preview fine. Then once all picked I hit play in Reaper. I get nothing, no drum patterns created. Hmmmm...
To be certain I loaded up Addictive drums same scenario as above but with Addictive midi files and everything works fine! I get the great groovy tracks I have come to know and Love!!
Sooo... I went back to SD 2.0 did everything as above again, started Reaper and I got nothing....just Reaper silently blazing away. Then on a whim after I stopped Reaper I went back to the brain and called up in preview each individual midi file for the various song parts. These worked fine in preview...started up Reaper one more time and Viola!! Success!! Reaper Jamstix and SD2.0 in harmony!!! Strange though??
I'll be putting JS 3.5 on my x64 machine today...will keep you posted! Keep up the good work!!!

Thanks for your input! Let me know if you experience any more 'weirdness' with SD2 MIDI imports.
