So far I LOVE this product. It sounds so much better than my sound module's drumkit. Forgive me if these questions have been asked before.
What I can't seem to figure out with the demo is how to construct a fill to fit custom measures, beats, etc. in original songs.
For example: bar 44 is 4/4 time, but the fill should be as long as and accent on the downbeat of bar 44, beat 3 - leaving the remains of the measure silent. Also, what about one hits?
Is there a wider range of control with the full package or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Thanks!! |

Fills are preset. Some will cover the whole bar and some are shorter so you may find one that fits by previewing them.
Jamstix 2 next year will have a fill generator that will give you control over the fill including start and end ticks.

In MIDI free jams, Jamstix will put in one hits under certain circumstances by itself. Manually this can only be done by adding notes to the Jamstix MIDI track in the sequencer or by editing the rhythm tab. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
