|
|
This is an important update for Jamstix 3 and can be downloaded from your personal download page. Thanks to all the beta testers!
Please note that the license key file should be in the main Jamstix folder and NOT in the folder where jamstix3.dll is! Also, if your current JS3.3 installation is using sounds from a concurrent JS2 installation, you won't see them in JS3.5. In that case, please install your sound Paks in JS3.5
Changes From 3.3.0
- added native 64-bit VST (PC) support
- added native 32-bit RTAS (PC) support
- improved Pak installer that supports installing multiple files at once
- improved AVLM sample selection logic
- cosmetic user interface changes
- improved mouse wheel support
- brain randomizer no longer affects feel settings
- optional song builder structure entry dialog box (for hosts that always intercept keystrokes)
- sub-hosting removed, use MIDI routing with new key map support instead

Congratulations on the release Ralph!! This should make JS irrisistable to every DAW user in the universe! 64-bit resistance is now futile....

Congrats on 3.5 Ralph
Having already installed the RC1, do I need to install the actual 3.5 release or is it identical? |

Where do I find my license file? I do not see it in my downloads section.
I'm going from jamstix 3.20 (32 bit) to 3.5 (64 bit).
Plugin was scanned fine but when I load it, it is asking for a license file.
I don't remember what file it was.. it's been well over a year, but I'm guessing it's the ****.rtxc file. Do I just need to rename that to:
jamstix3_license.rztlkf ??
Thanks. |

The license key file is called jamstix3_license.rztlkf
It may be in your plugin folder. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll send it to you. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Certainly noticed it's shinier drums seem more dynamic/sharper too.Haven't tried 64 bit yet on Ableton live 8.35 beta.Should be interesting to see how much difference it makes.I have a pretty fast 11 gig ram i core 7 ssd hard drive system.Still, like I remember when I was a time trial cyclist. It's what in the legs not the machine that makes it all happen. _________________ EMU 1820M user |

Looks like a search path issue. Please send me rzdlog.txt from Documents\Jamstix3. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I'm delighted for all you PC users...
.. I also hope it means that all the hamsters will now work on the OSX version!!!
Seriously - great job Ralph. You guys have obviously put a ton of work into this, then you make it available as a free upgrade. And you wonder why we love you!?

Congrats and many thanks, Ralph !! So glad I chose Jamstix3 many months ago vs vast list of alternatives. Huge value for $$ and terrific creative potential. Nice to see Reaper Forum exposure today for Jamstix 3.5 !!
Running on MS Windows 8 Pro 64-bit and all seems fine so far.
Regards,
