I have JS3.5.10 installed & working in 64-bit Sonar X1D. Almost everything seems to work correctly, but I cannot get the keystrokes to go to JamStix VSTi even though I have clicked the little keyboard that says, "Give all Keystrokes to Plug-in". When I do that, I can move the cursor along the Song Structure line, but no other keys will go there. For example, C, V, B etc (the useful ones).

I've been trying to work with Cakewalk Support for over a month now, but they keep telling me the problem is with JamStix. JS3 works correctly in 64-bit Reaper 3, so I'm pretty sure it's a Sonar problem. Since they don't have JamStix, they just keep pointing thing back to JamStix.

Is ANYONE using Sonar X1 64-bit? Do YOU have this problem? Help would be most appreciated.

The next Beta will have an option to edit the structure in a dialog box to work-around this SONAR issue.

Thank you!! That's GREAT! Any idea when that will be out?

I have an additional item too. In the original Jamstix VSTi, if I clicked on a bar or repeat, something such as the number "4" & changed something, I could just hit the "Enter" key & it would close that window & be the same as clicking the "OK" button or hit the "Esc" key & it would be the same as clicking "Cancel". In the 64-bit version I have actually click the "OK" button or the "Cancel" button to close something. That was a real time saver. I realize that whole section has changed now & that clicking the word "Verse, Chorus" etc or clicking the bar or repeat number now brings up its own window, but is there anyway you could ask the programmer place the focus on the "OK" button in the window? That way hitting the "Enter" key would work like it used to. I think it would also make hitting the 'Esc" key work like clicking the 'Cancel' button. Of course, the actual buttons would still work correctly. Just a thought...

OK. NOW, you're just messin' with me, right? So, are these coming "when pigs fly" or "when XXXX freezes over" or is the Tooth Fairy bringing them?

If it IS for real, do you have any idea WHEN the update will be arriving?

Not messing with you. The SONAR issue was well-known and we've implemented the work-around weeks ago. Beta is held up by audioM8 issues but should be out soon. The dialog box key functions were also implemented weeks ago because it annoyed me as much as it does you Smile

Wooo hooo!! That's great news! Thanks. I'm looking forward to the update. Is there some sort of mailing list I need to be on for that? I got an email about the initial Beta release, but just happened to check my download site a couple of weeks ago & saw that release 10 was out. I had been using release 6 for several months.

Do I just have to keep checking my download area from time to time or will you be sending out an update to let everyone know that the newest release is out?

Again. THANKS!!!
