No, there are no MIDI files. A better simplistic view would be:

STYLE=rules to build groove, fills and basic accents
PLAYER= rules to modify groove, add accents and modify fill behavior, apply timing and power variations

Thanks. Makes sense. Been testing it last night and all day today. Amazing software, I hope the new version doesn't "mess with perfection".
