I've been using the in built kits that come with Jamstix but I tend to stick with 3 or 4 kits.I'm looking to trigger some of the kits in Session Drummer that comes with Sonar X1,but I'm not sure how to set this up.
If someone could give me a step by step on how to use Jamstix to subhost Session Drummer I'd be interminably grateful Very Happy

Add a MIDI track with input=Jamstix and output=Session Drummer.

Thanks.
I've added a Jamstix midi track to a Session Drummer midi track and it's triggering Session drummer just fine, but there are certain hits, like snare offset for example, that aren't playing in Session Drummer.
Does this mean that Session Drummer isn't capable of 'reading' nuances like off hits?
Cheers.

You'll have to adjust the MIDI keys in the JS kit editor for the sounds that don't sound right to match the layout Session Drummer requires. If a sound is not present at all in SD, remove it in JS so the JS logic can use alternatives.

When done, just save as a new kit so you can load it easily in the future.

Also, use MIDI OUT ONLY in the JS3 mixer when driving SD so the JS3 sounds don't load and take up RAM space.
