| FYI, I reinstalled per your suggestion and sent you a new log file. It's still hanging. Thanks! |

Hey Ralph...
Regarding beta 10 still having trouble with the drop down menus...they pop up at the top of the screen...also give me no time to select anything.
...otherwise i would use it! Everything else seems fine...
Using Reaper 4.25 32bit |

We use a 3rd party cross-platform GUI tool kit that, unfortunately, rolls its own menu handling. I'll see what we can do for a work-around. Which menu specifically does this for you? Also, is it fixed if you set REAPER to auto-bridging? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

This happens either when attempting to save and close a project or simply remove Jamstix from the FX bin.
(BTW, I haven't read through everything here and have no idea where you're at with this possible issue, just mentioning it.) |
I had similar issues (hang, freeze, whatever). It seems it was just an issue in Reaper, though. |

I don't appear to get MIDI out during mixdown in Cubase 6.07. It outputs ok during playback (routed to SSD4) but no drums are present in the exported audio? JS internal kits work OK.

Since SSD4 is outside of JS, maybe this is an SSD issue? Does the MIDI OUT LED in JS light up during mixdown? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Does unpinning the JS window (no stay on top) help? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Ralph, I was going to suggest to craig_glenn that the Embedded GUI option in Reaper might be causing his problem with menus but I just checked and this problem no longer occurs in beta 10. So whatever that problem was that I reported is now corrected. |

Ahh...yes it does. So as you suspected - its possibly an issue with SSD. BUT - I discovered also have the same issue with Groove Agent One as well... so that's two external drum modules that don't seem to receive MIDI from JS during mixdown... ? |

thanks for the tip, that was selected; it turned out to be the "midi only" setting on the mixer panel |
