My first foray into using JS for drum line composition. Very Happy

First, I'm on W7 64-bit using Cubase 6.5 64-bit.

I load JS3, set the drummer to Peter, the style to Blues Shuffle, and the kit to drjee's Battery 3 Tight Kit mapping. (See http://rayzoon2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47)

In the Mixer tab, I click on the MIDI Only setting. On the Kit tab I confirm that channel 1 is selected for the various kit pieces.

In Cubase, I create a MIDI track, set the input to jamstix3 - Midi Out and the output to Battery 3 - Midi In. In the VST Instruments window, Battery 3 and jamstix3 are loaded. Battery 3 has the Tight Kit loaded as well.

When I manually click on the various drum components in JS3, I see the MIDI Out indicator light up, but Cubase is not showing any MIDI In activity. Obviously, no sounds are being produced either.

Thoughts?

I think there is an 'Echo' or 'Monitoring' option on the Cubase track.
