As a non-power user/newbie, the only way I know to look for fills is passively, i.e., letting JS3 play one as it cycles through a song.
I know fills are generated real-time, but I was wondering if there was a way to hear them in a less "passive" manner than simply waiting for JS3 to play one. Is there by chance a more active method to browse for them?
A related question, especially if the answer is no: how would people recommend to "save" for later reuse specific fills JS3 plays that they like?

| I use the bar preview and loop the fill while I adjust the Brain controls. When I get what I'm looking for I lock the bar. (blue padlock on the right side of the bar editor) I also change drummers for various parts when needed. |

I tried that out, very nice, thanks!
Combined with the Fill >> Save Fill in the bar editor, I can see building up a library of fills to choose from. I wonder if that is reinventing the wheel though - is such a list already accessible?
If not, maybe that would be something to consider for a future version?

| No there's no list of pre-made fills. that's part of the beauty of JS IMO. You could import midi fills and let the JS drummers do their thing to the fills and save them in a library. That's part of what the save/load fill feature is for. You can also save/load the Fill Settings under the drop down menu in the Brain section which will give you a good starting point. |
