I'm not sure if this is where you want this info, but I'm using your JamStix3.5 64-bit (Beta) VSTi & in Sonar X1 64-bit, it doesn't allow me to press any keys for the Song Structure. Where one would normally press the button in Sonar that looks like a little keyboard to "Give all keystrokes to the Plug-in" & then enter "IVVCC..." etc to get JS to build a song, in X1 64-bit that makes X1 do things. For example, "V" toggles the Video & doesn't put the "V" keystroke into the Plug-in".
That said, I don't know if this is problem with Sonar or JamStix because I don't have any other 64-bit Plug-ins that will take keystrokes, so I can't test it to confirm.
If this is the wrong place to post this, please let me know what to do & I'll do it. |

I think there is an option in the X1 window around JS to send keystrokes to the plugin. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Yes there is, but as I stated above, that no longer works. Even if I press the button to send keystrokes to the Plug-in, they don't go to the plug-in. They go to X1 & change things.
As I also stated, I don't know if it's a problem with the 64-bit version of X1 or with JS3.5. I'm pretty sure it's not X1, but again, I have nothing to test X1 with because JS3.5 is the only 64-bit VSTi that I have that needs keystrokes. The 32-bit VSTi works with a Bit Bridge in X1 & for some reason THAT removes all of the buttons on the VSTs & the keystrokes just go to the plug-ins without a problem.
I'll open a ticket with Cakewhack & see if they'll sort it out. I just thought I should report back here to let you know. So far that's the only problem I've found. It works great in 64-bit X1 & Reaper & the RTAS works in Pro Tools M-Powered 8. I'll let you know the status of the ticket I open... |
