That was a warning becuase you will have to babysit me through the set up like no other
I had absoutely no luck with the demo but I am buying anyway becuase of three things.
1) I have been reading this forum for days now and most people with a similar set up have gotten it to work - So I know it is me that's the dumb-ass.
2) I really want to get more out of Battery than just bangin in on the keyboard
3). You have the most kick-ass customer support of any software I have seen by far
So I am counting on ya buddy - Youve been warned - here I come |

|
|
Just downladed the full version and this thing is going to rock once I get my head around it. I may be asking a question that has been addressed before but bear with me. I want to take this step by step so the first thing I want to do is get this set up for use between the internal samples and B2.
Ralph (or anyone using B2) - could you just give me a quick rundown of the steps you used to get it set up correctly? I am really interested in the mapping steps and using the different mic and stick settings
The reason I dont want to do a search is because as I get answers I am going to save and print this thread and put it in my help folder so I can always refer to it when I need help. Sometimes threads get hijacked and that's cool but I just wanted to focus on battery 2 for this one.
Appreciate the help and Ralph - This program is Phaaat!!!! |

We don't have B2 here so hopefully a user with B2 can help you concerning specific mic/stick set-ups in B2. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

The steps are outlined in the 'Free Jam Quick Start Guide' PDF in your Jamstix menu folder in Section 2.1 as well as the Jamstix manual in Section 4.2.
Let me know if you need help beyond that. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ok - That will work - The directions seem pretty clear !!
1 more question Ralph since I have you on the line here
I see on the download page that someone has kindly posted a map for B2
Where do I copy that to - Do I just paste it into the Janstix folder and then call it up when I open B2?
Sorrry for the dumb questions - I warned ya!! |

Just copy it into the 'mapping' subdirectory of your Jamstix folder. When you start Jamstix it will then be available in the 'Load Mapping' dialog. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
