1. Jamstix 4 (Windows VST & AAX) will be released in November 2017.
2. the macOS version will follow in early 2018.
3. Several MiniPaks, which were delayed by the JS4 work, are to be finalized in 2018.
4. There will be continuous free updates for Jamstix 4 with new functionality, styles, drummers etc.
5. iPad/iPhone development is on hold due to various technical issues encountered while trying to bring a meaningful product to those platforms versus an over-simplified something of limited use.
6. JamBassist is still being investigated but with no release time frame.
Thank you all for your support and patience! We know we've been ridiculously delayed on many of our ideas and releases. We do the best we can with our resources and hope you will continue to accompany us on our quest for plugins that actually work with you. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Ralph - So everyone will be able to get in on the public beta of 64-bit JamStix? I"d love to be able to check that out ASAP running under Sonar X1d... |

Thanks Ralph! Very much appreciated!
That sounds like a great plan. I just bought the two latest mini packs - I hope to see even more such good additions in the future.
Especially in the percussion area there would be a place for many more world-inspired styles and sounds
I mostly use Jamstix in the jam modes to just improvise along and the more song-wizard-presets with interesting variations and jam modes the better
For me this is where jamstix/jamcussion really shines!
All the best wishes for the development!
Cheers,
Tom |

That specific combo is not an intermediate target, I'm afraid.
JamBassist will be an expansion to the full-blown Jamstix product for Win/OSX. Our initial iOS product will be a highly simplified groove player based on Jamstix technology but without all the bells and whistles due to small screen and limited horsepower. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I understand Ralph. I was just excited to see both being separate future developments.
But now that you mention it... |

Happy to hear OSX is coming. I'm also ecstatic to hear that JamBassist is not forgotten.
I think an iPad version of Jamstix would really raise awareness of the product, I bet a lot of people would buy it that aren't even into music production, just hobbyists the play around on their iPad. An ipad version could also become a very legitimate tool to use live, or to take to a jam session with friends.
But please don't make me upgrade to Lion!!! |

| Amen Ralph!!! That is awesome news. Can't wait to use this in 64-bit. Sonar X1-d is finally pretty stable (at least for me). Now all we need is a Jamstix Rack Extension for Reason and my life would be great...."no pressure." |

Ditto on both!
For all the great features of Jamstix I've always thought the GUI is the weak point, so great to see this worked on. |

Do you accept FRs for 3.5 in this thread?
I always found knobs mouse drag sensitivity in V3 too high for me, even though I know you can use shift for finer movements.
Any chance to have a setting for knob mouse drag sensitivity?
Thanks,
Mario |
