Hello there,

this is my first post in this forum. First of all: I think JS is a great piece of software.

I have some problems, but this will be the Topic of other post from me.

I will begin with a constribution. Here are the Mappings for the 3 Native Instruments Studio Drummer Kits: Session, Garage and Stadium.

Does anybody knows how to map the cymbal choke samples for the different cymbals?

Greetings
Klaus

I just purchased Jamstix hoping to breathe a little more life into my Studio Drummer patterns. Thanks for the mapping! I cannot wait for great SD support in JS. Very very glad to hear it's in the works.

I'd love to get a bit of help troubleshooting. I have imported the mapping so generously given here. I have it set up in Reaper, Jamstix on one track, doing a midi send to Studio Drummer on another. Generally it works, gets the great sounding samples of Studio Drummer. Now, I'll import the midi files from Studio Drummer into Jamstix, but when it's jamming, it seems to omit a LOT of notes - even with the power all the way up. I've tried various different drummers and it's the same effect. Sometimes it will only trigger only one or two percussive hits per 4-bar sequence. Is this because the mapping is incomplete?

Hey John

On your Kit editor (Jamstix) page check your "articulations" you might have to individually map these midi notes to SD's...

Go to SD's manual for kit specific midi notes...they have a pdf for each kit. (garage, stadium, session)..

i found this helpful...

Hi,

all senseful articulations are mapped in the mapping files from above.

Can you the ommited notes in the bar editors groove section?

Is it a Midi problem? Try to host SD in Jamstix not in Reaper.

Greetings
Klaus
