Is there some way to NOT display the "Licensed to" at the bottom of the window?

I don't like having my name displayed where it doesn't need to be. It's a stupid pet peeve of mine. If there is a way to get rid of that I'd appreciate knowing how to do it.

This is part of the very not intrusive copy protection of Jamstix, so one doesn't go ahead and give a copy to a friend who gives it out to a friend who doesn't share it with teh whole internet. I have no trouble with this and think it is a good way to stamp the ownership of the product. And why should it bother anyone? I use it in my home studio and before that I used it in our now bankrupt studio. Then it was registered to our studio and if our customers saw that it had our studios name in it, it was just a good thing. Now I have a license in my own name, since I use it at home.

I see no problem with this. I have agreed to the terms that this cannot be resold when I have purchased this product, so it is registered to me.

As I said it's a stupid pet peeve and it does bother me enough that I have to ask about getting rid of it.

Now it's quite annoying.

The descriptions that display when you hover the mouse over a function don't stay up long enough. They're displaced too quickly by that license notice

I don't know what I'm doing and I need to read some of those descriptions multiple times for them to sink in. It disrupts my thought process.

This widgety thing's function is to. . ."Hey! Guess what!? This program is licensed to you!!! YOU!!! Are licensed to use this program!!!"

Aaargghh! So I move the cursor and hover it back over the function I Am trying to understand. Let's read it again.

"This widgety thing's function is to jibber jabber." What the. . . hell does that mean!? I read it again. This widgety thing's function is to. . ."Hey! Guess what!? This program is licensed to you!!! YOU!!! Are licensed to use this program!!!"

Aaaarrghh! I get it!!! I just want to read the flags. Go away!

See why I don't like it?

I don't understand your problem. I've yet to find a single tool tip that I could not read and comprehend in the time the tool tip is visible. Print out a copy of the manual if it's that big of a problem.

My problem is the tool tips are displaced too quickly by the "Licensed to" notice.

I Am a total freaking n00b at this. It would just be more helpful to me if the tooltips displayed a little longer as I learn the program.

Jamstix is a bit overwhelming after having only used EZDrummer to drag and drop patterns.

We'll extend the tooltip display time in the next update.

Thanks. Hopefully I'll have most of it figured out by then but it should be helpful for other new users as well.
