Is there an quick way to copy a rythm pattern and paste it in an other one ? (except using save and load...)
|
If you mean copying the contents of one rhythm to another then you must use save/load rhythm. Is that what you meant? |
Yes exactly... Thanks...
Ctrl-C and Ctr-V would be great but i can live with save/load. |

Thanks for the 4-21 fix. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong! I'll download it soon.

I just did a quick test and free jam in audio mode is working fine now. I'll try to spend some more quality time with Jamstix tonight. |

Hi Ralph,
You are a busy one! X4-23 and 1.3 Beta were both posted on 7/15. 1.3 beta is the latest, right?? |

They are both the same. We decided to put up a 1.3 beta message on the main Rayzoon page to get more users to try it out before we release it.
Many folks don't look in the forums... _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the ongoing and rapid fixes and additions Ralph...
it still bothers me that I can only use these new betas "at my own risk"... |

Ralph --
Thanks for the load/save on the input velocity maps. Excellent!
Okay... just downloaded X4-23. Running it in Cakewalk Home Studio 2004, wrapped with Directixer. I use "free jam" mode first to build an arrangement. Then, I go to "arranger". The track is stopped in HS. I click stop on the transport bar. I try to move the arranger to bar 39. It instantly begins scrolling back to bar 1; won't let me edit anything beyond bar 28. |

That's odd. It works fine for us in Sonar 4PE (we don't have HS). Do you see this in other hosts as well? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I just starting using Jamstix (1.3 Beta) with Sonar 4.0.2 Producer and am experiencing the same type of behavior. If I stop the transport it will finally stop once it gets to bar 1, but if the transport in arranger is set to play it continues to scroll, even looping back to the point that the sonar tranport was stopped and then continues to scroll back to bar 1, etc. It also does this as the song is being played, you can see the red error message at the bottom of Jamstix about needing to stop the transport in order to scroll!! BTW, this scrolling does not happen when I use the "officially" released version.
Also, I have noticed that under the Hi Hat option of the Rythm page (where you select the type of sound, open, semi, foot, etc.) that when the box opens and I select an option, that it selects the option ABOVE the one I moused on. Weird. As a result, I cannot select the last option.
I have just downloaded the DirectXier and was thinking that might fix some of this.
BTW, I am very happy with Jamstix and impressed that you are letting us help you make a great product even better. I hope we don't overwelm you with all these requests and suggestions. |

PatrickH, can you elaborate some more on the Sonar behavior. A step-by-step would be great since we cannot duplicate any problems here so we must take care to communicate perfectly.
Thanks! _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ralph,
Beta X4-24 is great! Setting the Start Bar to zero puts the fills every 8 bars starting on bar 8 just like I want. Many, many thanks to you and your team. |

I will get back tonight and review what I have on the computer and write down what steps will create the behaviour. This hasn't been a show stopper for me, it hasn't stopped me from getting some good results with JS.
Thanks |

Ralph,
I installed the latest build (X4-24) and the scrolling and selection of the HiHats are working correctly now. So, I don't know if you did anything specific to address these, or maybe the stars were aligned better during the install, but it works now.
BTW the percussion MIDI conttrols was high on my wishlist. Thanks
PatrickH
Thanks, |
