Ralph -- first off congratulations...great job. I love the song creater. My normal workflow is to make a basic groove, save it as a style, then use the song build wizard to automatically build song. Now my problem is my basic groove is 2 bars. when I save style, it asks for how many bars and I enter (2). But then the style has silent gaps when previewed. Is there a way to auto generate the song based on a 2 bar style?

Again -- your program is knock out, what language is coded in?

I can't duplicate this. Does this only happen in preview or also in the actual created song?

Thanks for your kind words about JS, it is written in Delphi.

Ralph, I will email you the two bars I use for the style. When I save groove as style, there are voids in the style, and in the song. So it is possible to use more than one bar to create a style? The two bars are slightly different

I have this same issue so would like to hear about any answers that come up.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong:
Start with a blank slate
Import a groove that's a 2 bar (or even 4 bar ideally) MIDI file
It only seems to recognize the first bar when I try to save it as a style

Using latest jamstix beta

You should use the 'Import' style and load the multi-bar MIDI clip into that.

Yes that's what I do (said "groove" instead of style in my post)
I don't seem to get more than one bar when I save out to a custom style.
Will experiment a little more.

Can you send me the MID file you are using?

I did some new beats and repeated the process. It seems fine, so I don't know why that particular one didn't work, but no worries now.

Thanks,
Dave
