Ok bought loaded, updated, all set and configured...still no play button...

How do i use this like a free standing drum machine?

I can hear playback and i understand that if i have a midi track with jamstix on it when i press record on any track i will hear the drums, and if i press the loop button in the step editor i can hear one section of it over and over, but how do i hear the drums without recording anything or having anything recorded...or do i just record a 5 minute blank track and press play everytime i wanna listen to a drum track without my own recorded audio...

Im using Mixcraft atm but will use cubase 5 if it will do this. Thanks again ^_^

Some hosts don't play if they think there is nothing to play. Not sure if Mixcraft has an option for this?

I've just emailed you a SAVIHost wrapper so you can also run JS stand-alone.

The host you sent me allows only a single play back. it plays thru once and doesnt allow a rewind nor stop function and when i press the lock key it mutes but continues thru the song. only way to rewind is to close out the progam and start it again

I ran jamstix thru cubase and it works there perfect so i guess im gonna have to really sit down with cubase and learn how to work with it xD thanks again

In the wrapper, you can stop playback by clicking on the BPM. Clicking again will restart the host at 1:1.
