I am wondering whether the Freeze function should work in Cubase 6 (the Cubase freeze, not the Jamstix Freeze). When I click on the Freeze in the Instrument Rack, Cubase says the instrument is not connected. I realize I can use the Jamstix Freeze but that really doesn't seem to lower the ASIO load. It seems like it should be able to work since Cubase can do the non-realtime export with Jamstix. Is it because I am using 64 bit Cubase with the built in VST Bridge? Will the native 64 bit Jamstix work with Cubase Freeze?
Sincerely,

Make sure you have some dummy MIDI events in the JS track in Cubase. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Turns out you don't actually need notes (events). You just need to make a MIDI part that spans the song.
