Fresh install of Window 7 x64(new SSD OS drive).
The jamstix installer is fudged up, giving the location of install to "C:\jamstix3". Well, programs never, ever install on the root directory...
What normally happens is x86 VST install their program to "C:\Program Files (x86)\", and then give a choice for the VST dll itself. Here I was given no choice for the VST dll...
So, where do you install the files?
I need the dll to be in two location:
"E:\VSTs\Jamstix3" (for the x86 version of Reaper)
and
"E:\VSTs x64\Jamstix3 x64" (for the x64 version of Reaper)
And the program itself:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Jamstix3"
So, how do I achieve that? |

The JS3 installer asks for two locations. For the first one (data), select:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Jamstix3
for the second one (plugin location), select:
E:\VSTs\Jamstix3
then add 'E:\VSTs\Jamstix3' to the plugin search path for REAPER-64 so both versions can access the same DLL. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
