Is there a possibility to let battery (1) use more then the first stereo output when it runs in jamstix?

When I use battery alone (as VSTi) - then I know how to route the sounds to the different outs.

Jamstix supports up to 16 stereo outputs, you can select that in the mapping tab (changes require restart of Jamstix) . When you load a VSTi into Jamstix the routing should occur automatically. Whatever way you use to route outs from B1 in your hosts should also work for Jamstix itself. What host are you using?

Hi Zauni,

the routing with the (jamstix)internal samples is ok.

When I load battery inside Jamstix, battery ownes only one stereo out - and it's not possible to give it more outputs, like it is when I use it as vsti.

Host? You mean the Sequencer?
Cubase SX2, also tested in SL1, both updated.

Rudi, if you load the 'BFD All Outputs' mapping in Jamstix via the LOAD button in the mappings tab, you should see all outputs in use.

Hm, I didn't own "BFD", so when I try to load the 'BFD All Outputs' mapping nothing is found. Maybe I have an understanding problem. I try to use battery 1 inside jamstix with more then one stereo out.

Sorry for asking again and for the unperfect english (I'm from germany).

Hey - I didnt notice the update - maybe the added 'MIDI-Out Only' checkbox will solve my problem.

Your English is great, it is my brain that is failing! I forgot you said 'Battery 1' and started to assume 'BFD'... Rolling Eyes

I checked Battery here and it is registered with 2 outputs (1 stereo) How do you increase it?

Well, when Battery is normal as VSTi loaded, there is the oppertunity to increase the outputs via 'options' - up right in the window there are the two boxes where You can choose the number of stereo and mono outs.

After this a new start have do be done - as in jamstix.

A little bit tricky is the setting of the outs for each sample(-set). In the main window down at the right - You have to move up and down by holding the left mouse button (PC).

Best wishes!

Unfortunately no reply from NI. Maybe you could raise this issue with NI support as a customer?
