|
|
After browsing some of the posts experiencing similar problems, I find my problem differs in that in the KIT window I see "41 sounds missing" for several of the KITS I selected. I reinstalled all 3 of the XT Paks as was suggested in another post. It did not help.
I can see the KIT displayed that I selected. As I click on the kit pieces, they light up. The MIDI-OUT light flashes as well when clicking on the drum. There is no sound coming through. I can hear the song tracks in the host. Thus, I have ruled out anything in the Audio chain. The volume settings within Jamstix are all turned up to 8.
Another thing I found while playing the song in the host and assigning Jamstix to the drum tracks that the measure counts and the beats progress with the song. The MIDI-IN flashes as well. So, I know there is communication flowing back and forth between the host and Jamstix. I cannot figure out why I cannot hear any sound.
The demo ran like a charm with no problems.
I have uninstalled the entire program and reinstalled.
Any suggestions? I am excited to get this ramped up and working.
Thanks,
RickeG |

| Do you have "MIDI ONLY" selected in the mixer window? Is "Downmix" selected in the mixer window and you're monitoring soundcard outputs other than 1 & 2? |

Thanks A, for your response.
Yes, in the Mixer window displays "MIDI ONLY" & DOWNMIX is also selected.
For soundcard outputs monitoring other than 1 & 2, In Sonar, the MIDI track, the output is assigned to Jamstix. Only Audio tracks are assigned to numbered outputs such as 1, 2, etc. |

Make sure the JS3 stock kits are installed. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Turn off "MIDI ONLY" because that prevents Jamstix from using its sample player. "MIDI ONLY" is used only for recording the midi data onto a track in your DAW software or for driving another vsti such as BFD or Superior Drummer. |
