|
|
The good news is that we finally figured out what caused instabilities on 64-bit systems with Jamstix for many users. It was the licensing system!
We have integrated a new licensing system in Beta 8, which we will use from now on. This has fixed the 64-bit issues for our internal testers. The new system is also able to support the future native 64-bit and OSX versions of Jamstix.
Furthermore, instead of manually entering license keys for Jamstix and each Pak as with the old system, the new system will give you a single license key file, which you simply copy next to jamstix3.dll to activate jamstix and all your Paks.
Beta 8 is now available for testing from your download page where you will also find a web tool to obtain your license key file. Please let us know how this works for you. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Excellent! Excited about the native 64 bit plug!

The tool is case-sensitive at the moment. I'll post here when we've changed it so you can try again. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Just make sure I got it right:
Have already JS3.2.0 installed
> download zip file 3.2.1.beta8> unzip to JS3 root folder>
> download licensing/key file and C/P to root folder>
>than run JS3 in my FLStudio10 .....opend without no problem. The only thing is if I check "about" the version shows 3.2.0 ? Is that correct? And this procedure will be "forever" as long is JS3 ...sweet

Done file sent. I had two rzlog.txt files. You have them both.

I do think you need to put the new .dll file in the VST folder which is likely not your "root folder".... |

Anyone with 'incorrect license key file' issues, please re-request your key under SUPPORT on our web site. We have corrected those issues. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Minor note: the URL of the personal download page is not included in the plain text version of the e-mail sent from the support form. (I have my e-mail reader set to display plain text by default, so I noticed this. Switching to the HTML version revealed a working link, but I presume the plain text version was supposed to include the URL.) |
