Final will be released after JS3 is out.

O.K, Ralph...8 months down the road and still waiting for the 2.5.3 RC.

Any chance of some feedback, please?

Thanks, Ralph.

We're trying to get some of the fixes in JS3 into JS 2.5.3 so we need some more time.

Thanks for the update, Ralph.

No problem my friend, i knew you wouldn't have deserted us JS2 users, just a long time since last post in this thread.

Keep up the great work, Ralph.

Thanks for everything thus far.

Colin.

2.5.3 RC1 is now out with a fix for the Windows 7 load/save dialog errors (Install Pak, Load DLL etc.)

No bug reports, might as well make it official and seal the lid. (glad I saved the legacy editions)

Small hiccough; I've just installed this RC and it detected my Jamstix VSTi folder correctly. But it put all the data in there too.

I moved the installed "data" folder to the correct location (on M:\).

My js2.ini file is:
Quote:
[DLL]
PATH=C:\Program Files\VST Plugins\Composition\jamstix
[DATA]
PATH=M:\Jamstix\data

Yes, the JS2 updater can't handle it but the JS3 updaters can.

OK,

I think that next time I'll point the installer at the Jamstix library folder (M;\Jamstix) then move the .dll file into my VSTi folder (C:\Program Files\VST Plugins\Composition\jamstix)

Hello,

so in the end no official 2.5.3 ever?

I am running 2.5.2 with a few problems (most notably losing sometimes the song data when saving with CTRL-S in REAPER, but I'm used to it....); is there some real advantage in installing 2.5.3RC1 on top of 2.5.2?

Thanks,
Mario

Sorry about that. We need to get an official 2.5.3 out soon, which will be identical to the RC1. It has several fixes over 2.5.2.
