I have an 8 bar section in a song with shanked and closed/half closed hats that play fine when I preview them a bar at a time, but when I play through the song,I get to this section and all the hats are sustained (not dampened)
Also,is it possible to reproduce in JS the effect where a crash cymbal is hit,but immediately deadened with the hand?
Oh,and one other thing,is there a way to produce a continuous 'roll' of a tambourine in a crescendo,as opposed to individual hits? Not sure if I've explained that clearly.
Cheers. |

Can you send me a JS3 song file with the hihat situation?
Cymbal choking can be done in the bar editor. Place a 'Cymbal Choke' event on the opposite hand of the cymbal you want to choke at the time you need it chocked.
A tambourine roll can be done manually in the bar editor. I'll see about adding a shaker/tambourine crescendo function similar to the the 'Add Snare Roll' function in the tick menu. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
