all loaded up with JS & Reaper.yahoo...i think?.......watched vid on YT about quick start with JS, and got all the way to the point where they chose a song "12 bar blues".
I can hear and play the set.........but
I am not understanding how they got the pre-written song to play......i saw them press the unlock/lock button, and the song started to play for them........but for me nadda........
any clues? |

| There is no play button in Jamstix. It follows your host. Use your host's transport panel instead. |

thank you,
I found that out later on in the evening, but still it said top right hand corner that I had 13 sounds missing........
any clue what that means?
when I did finally hear it running, there was drums missing.....that's when I noticed that's what the 13 sounds were missing, any help will be greatly appreciated

Pretty sure it is because you are using the demo. Here are the limitations from the home page.
* random audio noise
* very limited stock kit (reduced layers, sounds and articulations)
* no XL sounds
* MIDI output and export set all notes to 'Kick'
* Some 'Save' functions are disabled
I'm glad you got it working. I actually started with EZD, and since getting the hang of Jamstix almost never touch EZ anymore. I'm glad to hear you are into reaper as well, it is still the best $$ that I have ever spent on software (along with Jamstix of course). |
