Using SB Audigy 2 ZS.
I had the demo working and bought the software.
I uninstalled the demo, reset all VSTs and installed the full version. Now JamStix does not show up in Sonar. The AudioM8 does. Noting I do changes the status in Sonar. I used the VST loader, it finds JamStix and seems to load.

See if the key:
HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk VST Adapter\Inventory\ C:\ "The Path to your VST Plugins" \jamstix demo\jamstix.dll
is in your registry. If so, delete it and try again. Also, please use the latest Jamstix beta with CW VST:

The registry is correct. I downloaded the beta and reset all VSTs. Reloaded VSTs and got no where.
Jamstix shows up in Cubasis but not in Sonar. I have tried rebooting reinstalling jamstix etc...
When I reinstalled jamstix it did not delete the license file in the instal dir...
The only thing I can think of, is when I went from the demo to the full version I did not remove the plugin from a project. When I loaded that project it told me that the demo dll was not found in the jamstix demo dir. I removed the plugin and saved the project. Since then I can not get jamstix to show up in the softsynths.

If Jamstix works fine in Cubase then this is clearly a Cakewalk VST adapter issue. All I can think of is resetting the adapter, clearing the registry. Do you ever see the VST adapter 'see' Jamstix after its scan? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

And do you see 'Jamstix' as an option in the VST submenu of the DXi insertion menu in Sonar? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I'd recommend deleting all keys under:
HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk VST Adapter\Inventory
then rescan and see if it helps _________________ Ralph Zeuner

The VST reset function deletes all the registry keys under Inventory. I have verified that it does delete all the entries.
I am out of town on business these week and will try more things went I get back next week.
Are ther other registry settings to check?
Thanks for all your help so far. I'll contact you next week if I need further help...
