Flicking through the kits a lot of the time i want just to have more side stick than full on snare without lowering the power knob.
Im guessing it's to do with the Redirection control ? any ideas ? im a bit stuck on this
Thanks

Just raise 'Max Power' in 'Auto Snare' to max. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Yes, that way main groove snares go to sidestick. Other snares will not. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Ok i have Breakbeat being played by loopey on a Funky Ludwig (BP) and while this has dropped a few of the snares to stick maybe 50% are still sounding as snare. Can i get it down to stick only ? |

I tried to save but had an' access violation' message so i started from scratch in a new song and it's rocking out the stick shots perfect now with the 'Auto snare' at max with subtle snares in the fills and damn it sounds good.
I have no idea why it did'nt work first time as i try not to fiddle with things too much now.
Really nice groove , thanks for the help.

I was going to send you the song anyway as you may have been interested in how i had it setup but it's impossible to save a song with 3.2.0 , 64 bit REAPER and jamstix bridged ! so ill report that as a bug as i it happens everytime.
But Breakbeat, loopey, Ludwig(BP), amb off in the mixer, bass drum damped to 90% tuning central, vol -6db. Snare vol lowered to -8.2db 'Auto snare' set to max. 4 bars long with transition fills on, song power 80%.
If i got everything right that's a perfect groove for me to play DX+strings over

Do you have 'Bypass audio...' checked in REAPER VST preferences? If not, please try that. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
