After spending a ton of cash on so many drum samplers and groove packs only to always find out that the pre-packaged grooves are so limited and never have what I'm looking for, I was so excited to learn about Jamstix. Buy my dreams of finally desigining my own grooves without having to manually draw MIDI note after MIDI note were then quickly crushed after learning there is no RTAS version and no Mac OSX compatibility. I see that there are workarounds but spending another 100 bucks on the VST wrapper and another 80 bucks on ipMIDI is simply something I can't afford, on top of having to pay for the Jamstix plug itself. On top of that, having to run my Windows VM along side my PT sessions in OSX is not something I have ample enough RAM to handle.
Ray, I don't know if an RTAS version and/or Mac compatibility is on your radar, but if it is, just know you're going to make a LOT of people very happy, and get yourself a whole new customer base! If not, oh well for us, maybe one day I'll leave Mac/Pro Tools, but I very highly doubt it. I'll continue to sit on the sidelines and salivate over this incredible-looking plug.

We're working on an OSX version but it's gonna take more time. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Yeah Mac user here. The only reason I keep a PC around is the Jamstix plugin. Unfortunately I don't get to use it often since there is not a Mac version yet. |
