Ralph -
Will there be a new JS 3.2.0 manual coming to the Library? I just checked, and it's still a JS 3.1.0 manual... |

The new one is installed in the \data\docs folder of your install. I will update the online version soon. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Speaking of manual, there seems to be a new feature in 3.2.0 that is not mentioned in the new manual, unless I've somehow missed it.
In Brain Controls there is a new entry with three options:
Frequency ; Every Bar, Odd Bars, Even Bars.
Could we get a little explanation about that feature and later on maybe added to the 12.8.1 section in manual too?

Have to commend how amazingly flexible and useful app the Jamstix really has been for me. I prefer live drum tracks whenever possible, or program/sample mine from the scratch. Ever since I started to use Jamstix, especially my programmed parts have got a whole new level of realism while getting unprecedented control over how much of live/AI/programmed input there is in each part. I used to struggle especially with fills and groove variations, but now it's so much fun I occasionally have to force myself to stop experimenting.
I'm excited about the coming Breakbeat MiniPak, can already see having so much fun with that. I'm sure the LinearFunk and Flamenco minipaks will be great also.
Thanks for all your work on this great app Ralph. |

Thank you for your kind words!
We will expand on 'Frequency' in the manual as suggested, must have fallen through the cracks
Frequency determines if the element is active on all bars or alternating bars (odd or even). For example, you may have an open hat element that you want only on every other bar. Let me know if you need more info on this. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the Frequency explanation, simple and to the point. And the feature works just like that too.
Loving the Breakbeat minipak, btw. I think I barely got out from the PayPal pages that it was already there in the downloads, great service Ralph. Thanks. |
