I'm using Aaron with a freestyle beat, style funky on all verse chorus's etc, snare amount quite high.8 bars chorus 16 bars verse(hip hop uses this most of the time). Not quite right.I'd love to get it sounding closer to this.

Help is on the way via our first 'booster' or 'MiniPak', called 'Breakbeat'.
It will give you styles, kits (on existing sounds) and a new drummer to recreate classic, often-sampled breakbeats and hip-hop loops.
The Breakbeat Booster will cost only $9 and should be released in the next few weeks.
The larger HipPak is still in development but will focus more on modern grooves (crunk, house, raga etc.) and come with a boat load of new sounds. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

That's great to hear Ralph Any hint's on who the new drummer is?Must say had great fun jamming to the beat I set yesterday with Aaron. He's a bit excitable, and I had trouble getting him quiet when I went quiet on my guitar. _________________ EMU 1820M user |

You know about the player presets, right? That way you can chill Aaron out
The "Breakbeat" MiniPak will have a basic drummer called "Loopey". His purpose is to just add desired groove feel to the style without any accents or messing about. That way you can get the static looped beat character but with the human feel on timing. Of course you can always throw Aaron or anyone else at the breakbeat style _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph.Players presets I still have to learn each drummers style.I wanted just a high hat or a ride when I went quiet, but even with the powerhand I couldn't get it right."Loopey" should be an interesting try out looking forward to it:)As I use Ableton live, the Impulse drum sampler output or any of other drum samples I have, and imput to Jamstix could be a good combo. _________________ EMU 1820M user |
