I noticed awhile ago FXPansion helped spotlight a new product called "jamstix" that augments drum programs such as BFD. I've heard good feedback on the product and the company; I plan to purchase it, but I do have one question of FX before I do. . . .
Are there plans to create a competing product to Jamstix or somepoint far in the future to integrate a similar engine into BFD or Drum 9? Since I own both FX products and will gladly continue to pay for upgrades, am I better off being patient or do you plan to leave the Jamstix features right where they are in Jamstix alone?
Please P.M. me if answer compromises Top Secret FX super-products.

I can't imagine us making a direct competitor to Jamstix (well, unless they force us to by licensing their engine to T**nt***k or NI ).. both GURU and BFD's Groove Librarian may, in the fairly distant future, get to have more in the way of automatic-pattern-composition and intelligent-variation style features, but I really can't imagine it being as complex or comprehensive as Jamstix.. more along the lines of the Musiclab drum tools, I'd expect.
