So how do I install this latest beta? I copy & paste the .dll (which is named differently this time, I might add??) into my Jamstix folder on C: drive and also into my VST folder in C:/Program Files - like I always do. When I start Reaper it just hangs on loading Jamstix? I tried changing the .dll to just "Jamstix3.dll" but still hangs. How do I make this work? I've never had a problem before copying & pasting the beta .dll into both those folders.
While I'm at it, why the need to copy the .dll into both folders?? It's annoying. |

Copy the .dll into your Jamstix 3 folder, delete the old Jamstix3.dll manually and then clear your plug in cache and rescan in Reaper. I don't know why you have to copy it to two different folders, all you have to do is add your C:\Jamstix3 folder to your vst plug in path in Reaper. |

Oops, sorry about the DLL name! I have just updated the ZIP so the DLL is named correctly. If you have already downloaded it, just rename the beta DLL to jamstix3.dll

Hi, Ralph. Very good update, thanks. Still having some problems, though. Some elements, for some reason, can't be moved up or down even if they are between others. ´Hats Opening´ is one I can't seem to move. ´Gospelize´ is another. I also had an additional Classic Kick control that I couldn't move, but suddenly it begun to work. But I'm stuck with some elements that, because of that, can't be moved through the problematic elements. If I have an element below one problematic element and I try to move it up, it stays in the same position.
Any idea why is that?

EDIT: I'm having many problems with many other elements, it seems the new function is not working well. Try to reorder elements in a populated part to see what I mean. |

| I have a problem, Ralph. As I preview a fill with ´no groove´ marked, I expect the groove not to play while previewing also, but it does. Also, when I create a cell manually in a fill, hitting recompose should not delete that cell when ´lock manually created events´ is marked, right? |

| Hmm, pressing ´compose´ in a fill is recomposing all the fills for the part. Am I going crazy or it has changed again? |

FILL COMPOSE: If you are on the FILL page and AUTO is on, then that is what is supposed to happen.
NO GROOVE: can't duplicate that here. Groove is suppressed for me as it should and manually placed events stay when I hit 'COMPOSE'. Can you send me a song file?
REORDERING: The brain uses different types of 'effectors': generators, composition filters and play filters. There are always listed in that order so you cannot move a comp filter before a generator. This is not represented well in the current Beta. I'm thinking about ways to show the type.

Sorry, but what AUTO has to do with that? isn't is only when you change some fill setting? I'm not changing any, only pressing COMPOSE.

This is probably related with manually creating a cell, which I would expect to be part of the fill but somehow it is not. It plays, but it is not considered the starting point of the fill, so the groove keeps playing until an automatic fill cell is created. But sometimes what I want is exactly insert a cell so the groove stops playing after this when NO GROOVE is marked.
Also I have requested before that when you manually create a cell in an empty fill, a fill for the bar is created, otherwise there's no point in allowing the user to insert a cell in the fill editor. And, because of this, I can't create custom fills easily.

I see, but suppose I want to insert a Classic Snare control after inserting lots of other elements. The ´up´ option is shown in the MOVE menu, but will not work depending on the preceding element, so I will never be able to move it to the top, where I'll eventually want it.

Hi Ralph ! my first post to the forum and i have a big problem ! i wanted to download and try the new beta 3.1.3 beta 5 but i can´t find my personal download page ! my problem are also i have look on the delivery E-mail after purchase it has still worked , but now the delivery Mail in my mail Account are empty (Strange) ! is there a way where i can´t find the dl page again to get any update or Beta Versions ?
