|

Hi Zauni,
Just a quick query. I'm now programming the majority of my beats, and finding jamstix awesome for this. But I have a queries:
When programming my beats, when I knock up the snare accents bar it doesn't seem to make much difference. But when I use a preset pattern, it sounds loads different (massive difference). Is this my imagination? or is there really a difference.
Cheers

There shouldn't be a difference. Snare and tom accent choices are only modified by funkiness and complexity slider positions. Could you save the arrangement as a FXP and send it to us so we can check this out? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I must be my ears, tried it again and it sounds fine. Out of interest, does the complexity and funk affect beats when using the arranger (opposed to a freejam). I didn't think they did, but would be grateful if you could clear this up.

Complexity and funkiness in affect accent and fill choices in all modes but the rhythm is only affected by them in free jam mode. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
