Hi there...
Is there a way that i can route the Jamstix kick drum to "use" a kick drum sample i have elsewhere on the pC...ie does the kick drum sample have to be in another host?

You can simply make up a new Kit with your desired Sample that you assign to be used for the Kick.
Not exactly a routing matter...  |

...you could use a freebie sample playing plug like shortcircuit to play your audio clip/sample, and either subhost it with JS or fire it with MIDI.
Any good?
