Are there any current models that recreate that whole Manchester feel from the 90's?

Try the Funky Drummer style, in the Breakbeats section...load drummer Mark, and use the Wizard to create song. That gets you to a close Manchester 90s starting point, kind of a Fools Gold sound

Speaking of Manchester... it would please me to no end to have a Mark Heron (Oceansize) emulator.

Request page? Hm..

less interesting first, more interesting last:

Cindy Blackman (Lenny Kravitz Band)
Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, or better: Nirvana)
Steve Moore (The Mad Drummer)
Bernard "Pretty" Purdie (for vintage stuff)
Jukka Nevalainen (Nightwish)
Yoshiki Hayashi (X-Japan)
Joey Jordison (Slipknot)
Kevin Sawka (aka KJ Sawka - the human drum machine, The Pendulum)

On the last one, I definitely want a "second snare/kick/hihat" mode for JS3. Yoshiki, Yukka and Joey don't give/take much from themselves. They're all capable of playing "speed" metal (Yoshiki more than Jukka and Joey actually). Then again, I'd actually prefer Joey, since he's more technical.

Good call! Brian Bennett (better allround than previous Shadows drummers), Mark Bzrezicki, and if people are gonna keep asking for Ringo (jeez, my Boss DR550 is better than him) then Paul McCartney!!!

Sean Kinney (Alice In Chains)
Steven Adler (Guns-N-Roses)
Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden)
Tommy Lee (Motley Crue)

Any of these would be great, but especially Sean Kinney... Smile

I've encountered JS due to attempting to find a purchasable copy of Groove Agent 2. As such, I have to say that I think the devs of that program did a great job with both arranging the "timeline" of styles as well as the assortment of styles.

One of the deciding factors in buying JS was - Mark Brezicki? Fabulous post-Peart creativeness, I have checked out the JS menuing for that yet but look forward to it.

But what I seem to be missing is:

NICK MASON: in particular, ala the Groove Agent selections of "Dark Side" ("Us and Them", "Time"), and the funkier aspect as in the "jam" section of "Echoes", relative to his simple-swingy fill style.

MATT CAMERON: not sure how you would do this, but the way he goes across the bar with fills, middle of the bar fills, beats based on tom patterns (Jesus Christ Pose), ruffs getting into fills, and his push-pull sensibility of dragging fills, offbeat closed hat accents starting fills, the mathematical assortment of 16ths triplet hat figures interspersed into a 1/4 note hat pattern, ...

CLYDE STUBBLEFIELD/JABO STARKS: again, the Groove Agent "Soul" and "Funk" presets are nice, a feature that would make the "Good Foot", "Super Bad" and "Cold Sweat" shuffle, "Mother Popcorn" variations... with the PROPER ghost note dynamics... and a "horn break down variations" function...

DAVE BARBAROSA/STEPHEN PERKINS/LARRY MULLIN: tom beats - maybe this can be done now, I'm a noob, I don't know.

I presume "Gari" is Gary Husband? A "Vinnie" Coliauta would be cool, if possible ... Or a Chad "Wackerman"...

Also: how does one make the "Stewart" drummer make something ... Stewart-y? I've imported a quarter note kick pattern and tried to get it to do "Driven to Tears" hat-sorta accents, but...? Can JS emulate the Driven to Tears chorus...?

@Chip

Regarding Stewart's hi-hat behavior, turn the bars into fills, max focus on hi-hats, min focus on snare and toms, turn the RF to max and play with the Double Stroke setting for hi-hats.

"Gari" is David Garibaldi from Tower of Power.
