Hi Soultime
Do you mean where you put intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus bridge etc on the right hand side? Then Jamstix is inserted in midi, and audio input .I've had this problem myself where, because you work in clips you insert, for me play guitar clips bass etc on the say verse line then chorus line etc, until finished then global record the full piece.Because Jamstix is self enclosed with it's own verse chorus etc you can't record the verse line, and then move on to the chorus line etc.The only way I can think of doing it is recording say 8 bars in verse line on Jamstix audio slot, and keep moving down chorus, bridge, verse etc till done. Then global record the piece.I hope this kinda helps, because I'm trying to get my head around it to.I've found I've resorted to using drum samples lately, and I've actually got some songs done.Never one in Jamstix, just jams. _________________ EMU 1820M user |

Donīt know if I understand the question right:
Self enclosed or not, it is well possible to use Jamstix in Liveīs session view
1. Simply compose your song in Jamstix.
2. Record the whole song (= drum part) in a long clip.
3. Now you can go and splice the song in different scenes like intros, verses, choruses by simply copying this clip and using different start and end markers.
Very easy. |
