I'm only able to open certain projects in SONAR around 1 time in 10, other times it simply crashes SONAR. If I load the project in safe mode and disable Jamstix, it works every single time. Other projects have no such issue.
This happens regardless of whether it is subhosting or driving an external drum VST. Usual error from SONAR:

Which version of JS and Sonar do you have?

SONAR X1b
Tried JS 3.1.3 (earlier beta), just upgraded to beta 4 today to test. |

Try running Sonar via right-click->Run As Admin and see if that helps.

Another interesting fact. If I load the project without Jamstix, then load a new, fresh instance of Jamstix, there's no crash. So the crash definitely appears to be associated with a particular instance of JS.
This is borne out by another test: if I manage to successfully open the project, disconnect the synth, then reopen the project, there's no crash. As soon as I reconnect that instance of Jamstix, it crashes as usual. |
