|

On loading Cubase 6 64-bit in Windows 7 64-bit with a jBridged JamStix 3 VST, I frequently get the errors: "Last audiomaster opcode: 33; Last dispatcher opcode: -1." Then Cubase crashes altogether.
I did not find references to this in a search of this forum.
Occasionally also JamStix 3 is missing the interface when I call it up--just a plain white screen. Normally I need to deactivate and reactivate the plugin to get it back (or relaod Cubase).
Any ideas? |

I am using Cubase 5.5.3 with the built in bridge and I do occasionally get the blank white interface. I have found that if I wait about 5-10 seconds, SOMETIMES it eventually comes up. I have also found that reloading the project will fix it (a little quicker than restarting Cubase).

We're working with the jBridge dev on these issues. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

To update this, I have found that if I wait patiently for 5-10 seconds, the GUI ALWAYS comes up.

Experiencing the blank interface here also with W7, Cubase 6.0.2 64 and jBridger.
It doesn't matter how long the interface is left, nor any attempts to encourage it back by turning on/off, switching to generic etc. Restarting the project is the only way to retrieve the interface here. |

If you don't need to subhost another drum instrument with Jamstix, I recommend trying the built in bridge in Cubase. I have found it to work flawlessly (other than the MIDI out, of course, which I haven't tried.)

Oops. I've only just come back to music production after a 10 year gap and I'm playing catch-up a bit. It turns out that my Jamstix is not jBridged since my bridging was done prior to installing Jamstix.
So my issue exists with the built-in bridge after all. |

Oh wait.
I remember that I was having the blank white GUI occasionally (the permanent one) and then I changed the "cache GUI" option (don't remember which way, just remember that I changed it) and after that, the blank white GUI still sometimes comes up for a few seconds but ALWAYS eventually the correct GUI comes up. (at least, I haven't had a permanent one since changing the "cache GUI" option)
HTH
