Kontakt only sounds when track is selected in Cubas!?

Hi,

I am still using Jamstix 2. I have recently started using Cubase again- here is how I am trying to use Jamstix. I am using Jamstix as the brain/controller, and I have it controlling Abbey Road Drums (in Kontakt) on a seperate track- I'm therefore using the Jamtix MIDI output to trigger the drum samples. This seems to work, but I can only hear the drums when I click on/select the cubase Kontakt track. Whe this track isn't selected i can't hear the samples playing whatsoever. Does anyone know what this problem could be?
Any help appreciated!

Enable 'Monitoring' or 'Echo' on the Kontakt MIDI track. Not sure what Cubase calls it.
