Some battery 3 kits have seperate snare ghost samples. Is there a way to map them from Jamstix 3 so they play that sample? It seems that by default Jamstix maps the snare ghosts to the "Snare L" sample.
On a related subject, can anyone recomend a tutorial on mapping from Jamstix to other hosts?
Thanks. |

Just select the 'Snare Bounce' articulation in the JS3 kit editor and assign the MIDI key for the ghost sample. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

That would appear to map a JS3 generated bounce to the ghost sample. What I'm talking about is the way that JS3 handles "ghosts," i.e., it assigns them the same midi note as a regular snare hit, only with a lower velocity. Some Battery kits have a seperate sample for a "ghost." The only way I can see to trigger it is to manually edit the midi file and move the lower velocity hits to the desired midi note. What I was looking for was a way to possibly map it directly from JS3.
Thanks. |

Oh, I see. Yes, that cannot be done in JS, unfortunately. I'll see what we can do in the future. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
