Anyone tried the new 1.3 update of J-Bridge with Jamstix? What are your opinions about this update and Jamstix on 64bit systems (I use Sonar X1)?

Thanks for any info and experience.

Cecelius _2 - check out this thread - a lot of good information as well as my testing results with Jamstix 3, JBridge 1.3, and Cubase 6.0.1 x64.

I was getting opcode 33 error messages every now and then, but after trying j_gale's settings from the KVR thread, Jamstix and X1 seem to be behaving better (I trashed the .jbridge file and then applied his settings after restarting X1).

If I can reproduce the 33 errors, I'll contact Ralph. For now I'll call it user error (I messed with the .jbridge file trying different settings).

An X1 64-bit tip: If you use MIDI and are getting lots of drop outs (I was with Jamstix), check the X1 MIDI playback buffer setting. The setting was 500 milliseconds for as long as I can remember in previous versions. My X1 install set it to 250. Raising it back up to 500 fixed most of my drop outs (though X1 is still flakey at times).

I have been using Cubase 5.5.3 64 bit with the Cubase bridge with no problems. I use Jamstix directly into Cubase with eight channels with no problem. I hear that the MIDI out does not work correctly but I don't use Jamstix that way.
