Just downloaded C6 and moved all my plug-ins over. Got this message...Jamstix data file is missing.

Please advise how to fix.

Also, while reading through other posts here, I see that Jamstix does not work with 64 bit C6 unless JBridge is used. What is JBridge? And how do I get one?

Thanks All,
John

Raven_pheat,

JBridge allows a 32 bit plug-in to work with a 64 bit host. Cubase comes with a bridge but I have heard it doesn't work nearly as well as JBridge.
You can download a demo here.
I think the real thing only costs $15.

John, when do you get the message? At JS start-up? Is it followed by a selection dialog?

It says...Could not find JS2 "data" directory. Click OK & select directory.

I click on OK and get the Program File tree.

That's good. Just select the Jamstix 'data' folder in that dialog and you will be set.

Thanks Ralph. Did the trick.

I was copying the whole folder, which did not work. I had to open the folder and then it happened.

In the next couple of weeks I'll be upgrading to JS3.
